About Me

All About Ms. Ringsred

Welcome to 4th Grade!!

We have an exciting adventure in front of us! I can't wait to meet you!!

The 2017/2018 school year will be my second year teaching at Eagle View Elementary and my fifth year teaching. I have been fortunate to have taught in three different school districts. My first year in education, I taught fourth grade on a Native American Reservation near Hayward, Wisconsin. During my time at the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe School I got to participate in powwows, ricing and sugar bush. From there I moved to a small town named Black River Falls, near the Ho-Chunk Nation. I spent two years teaching third grade. I loved all my time in Wisconsin, but this town will always hold a special place in my heart.

However, I decided to move back to Minnesota to be closer to my family. I grew up in Maplewood, Minnesota and graduated from North Saint Paul HIgh School. After graduation, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where I achieved my Bachelors of Human Science in Education with a minor in mathematics. I am currently pursuing my masters from the University of Saint Mary's. I feel it is important that teachers continue to update their skills and seek new methods to best teach students of today.

When I am not at school, I love to spend time out in nature. My family has a cabin in northern Minnesota, where I enjoy kayaking, fishing and hiking! I have always loved school, from when I was a student to now as the teacher. I hope to help your child find something they will enjoy about school. I believe that every child can and wants to learn. It is my job to help them discover that in themselves. I can't wait to embark on this journey with you and your family.

Thank you,

Stephanie Ringsred
