The fourth graders are currently wrapping up their recorder unit. We will conclude the unit by playing songs and games that allow us to practice low E, low D, low C, high C, and high D. Following our recorder unit, the students will begin rehearsing for their upcoming Grandparents Day Concert. The concert will take place in the Main Gym on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 6 – 6:30 pm. A classroom visit in Mrs. Borwege’s room will follow the concert from 6:30 – 7 pm. For more information, please see below. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Grandparents Night
Featuring the Falcon Ridge Fourth Graders
Please mark your calendars for Monday, April 25th from 6 – 7 PM. The fourth grade students have been working hard to prepare an evening for their grandparents and families that showcase their talents in music and in the classroom.
Students should arrive at school by 5:45 PM and go to their classrooms to line up in concert order before they walk into the main gym for our concert. Following the concert, guests are welcome to visit their student’s fourth grade classroom. Please have your student dress their best!

In Art, the 4th graders are starting their clay bowl project for Creativity Helps Hunger. Students create and glaze clay bowls that are then sold at a soup night fundraiser to raise money for Peace Center food shelf in New Prague. The fundraiser will be Thursday, February 18th from4:00-6:00 pm at Falcon Ridge. See the flier below for more information about the night. I hope to see you there!
