7:30 a.m.-4:15 p.m. (Summer Hours: 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.)
Student Drop Off and Pick Up
Student Drop Off - Students having their own transportation should arrive at the school between 8:55 and 9:05 a.m., and should be dropped off at the northwest door to our school (by the playground) on school days. Drop offs after 9:05 a.m. must be made at the front door. At the end of the day, all buses will leave the school at approximately 3:50 p.m.
Student Pick Up - All children leaving Falcon Ridge, other than on a bus, must have written parent permission. As a last resort, and for last minute changes, you can call the office by 2 p.m to let us know that you will be picking up your child(ren). You have two options when picking your child(ren) up from school:
- Office Pickup - Park your vehicle in the north parking lot. Enter Falcon Ridge through the main front doors. Go to the front office area and meet your child/children. If it is before the dismissal bell, you must sign out your child(ren) out in the office. Office staff will call your child(ren) from the classroom(s) to meet you in front of the office. Exit the northeast doors. Exit the parking lot on the north side. Do NOT drive in front of the building where vehicle pick up is taking place.
- Curbside Pickup - When buses are still at Falcon Ridge, the first car will wait at the southeast corner of the north parking lot. When the buses are dismissed, a FR staff member will signal for the first six vehicles to pull up in front of the building. Once your child(ren) is in your vehicle, you can leave as long as there is not a vehicle in front of you. (Example: Vehicle 2 cannot leave until vehicle 1 is gone. Vehicle 4 cannot leave until vehicles 1, 2, and 3 are gone.) When all six vehicles are gone, a staff member will signal for the next six cars to pull up in front of the building.
During the Day
Parents/guardians are asked to call or send a note with their child prior to appointments and vacations, etc. Please include the name of the person picking up your child, if it is someone other than the parent/guardian. Whoever picks up the child will be asked to sign the child out of the office, while a secretary contacts the child through the teacher. Students picked up prior to 3:30 p.m. will result in a half-day absence.
We suggest that appointments be scheduled after school or on non-school days whenever possible.
During the course of the school year, there will be a number of classroom and special events that you may wish to attend, but know that you are welcome to visit us any time school is in session. An advanced call to the office is helpful to us in making arrangements.
All visitors are requested to sign in and out at the office. While in the building, all guests are required to wear a visitor sticker.
