College Application Fee Waiver Info

Some colleges never require an application fee; sometimes this offer is limited to applications submitted online.  Some colleges waive the application fee for the entire month of October, while some waive it only for one week in late October.  Click here for a list of Minnesota post-high school institutions to find out their practice regarding application fees.  See your counselor if you need to request an application fee waiver.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

This is the application for students attending any type of institution after high school.  It needs to be completed in order to receive any type of funding, including loans.  You may apply online using this site.  It's a fast, secure and easy way for students to apply.  Students and parents should use the FAFSA on the Web Worksheet to do their figuring prior to filling out the online application.  You can get help to download a paper application by contacting your child's School Counselor.  The FAFSA is also available online in Spanish.
