Parentinn's Cyberbullying Prevention for Teens Scholarship

In an effort to the cause of preventing cyberbullying, we have created the “Cyberbullying Prevention for Teens Scholarship” for High School students.

Award: $1250 for High School students.

Mensa Education and Research College Scholarship

Mensa Education and Research Foundation college scholarship program is now accepting applications for this year’s competition.

Applicants do not have to be Mensa members. They must be enrolled in a degree program in an accredited U.S. institution of higher learning during the 2018 academic year and they must submit an application and essay explaining their career, academic and/or vocational goals.

Minnesota Mensa, which includes parts of western Wisconsin, will be offering a $500 scholarship to one applicant and there are additional scholarships available at the regional and national level, as well as for those meeting particular criteria (field of study, returning students, etc.).

Scott/LeSueur County Corn and Soybean Growers 2018 Phil Meyer Memorial Scholarship Program

Student must be planning to attending an agricultural program at two-year or four year college majoring in an Ag related field.

Scholarship will be awarded on the following criteria:

  • Student must reside in Scott or LeSueur County
  • Family must be a Scott or LeSueur County Corn or Soybean Growers member
  • Student activities in high school and community
  • Student academics

Deadline is April 9.  Paper copies of application are available in the Guidance Office.

Minnesota Women's Golf Association

 The MWGA Foundation (Minnesota Women’s Golf Association) is pleased to announce the Minnesota Women’s Golf Association Foundation Scholarship Program. The scholarship program is available to high school senior girls who intend to enroll in college this year. The MWGA Foundation provides opportunities (scholarships) for youth, high school, and college girls involved or interested in golf and promote education by providing financial assistance (grants) to youth, high school, and college golf programs.The foundation will provide awards up to $3,000 per year to winning female candidates.  Application Are available in the Guidance Office.

Grow Ag Leaders Program

America's Farmers Grow Ag Leaders, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, is offering scholarships to students in rural communities who are looking to continue their education in an ag-related field of study and become the next generation of ag leaders.  Information can be found here   .  Deadline is February 1, 2018
