The fourth graders are currently wrapping up their recorder unit. We will conclude the unit by playing songs and games that allow us to practice low E, low D, low C, high C, and high D. Following our recorder unit, the students will begin rehearsing for their upcoming Grandparents Day Concert. The concert will take place in the Main Gym on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 6 – 6:30 pm. A classroom visit in Mrs. Borwege’s room will follow the concert from 6:30 – 7 pm. For more information, please see below. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Grandparents Night

Featuring the Falcon Ridge Fourth Graders

Please mark your calendars for Monday, April 25th from 6 – 7 PM. The fourth grade students have been working hard to prepare an evening for their grandparents and families that showcase their talents in music and in the classroom.

Students should arrive at school by 5:45 PM and go to their classrooms to line up in concert order before they walk into the main gym for our concert.  Following the concert, guests are welcome to visit their student’s fourth grade classroom.  Please have your student dress their best!

If you have questions or if your student cannot make it to the concert, please feel free to call or email. Looking forward to seeing you on April 25th

4th Graders are busy learning about idioms and how they are used in our language.  Students will put together a Google Presentation on an idiom, visually defining their idiom's figurative and literal meaning.  While they are constructing their Google presentation the students will learn important design techniques for a quality presentation.
