2019-2020 Academic Goals
- The percentage of students who meet or exceed standards as measured by the reading, math, and science MCA tests will be 20% higher above the state average in Spring 2020.
- The percentage of third-grade students who meet or exceed standards as measured by the reading MCA test will increase from 62% to 70% with at least 20% exceeding standards, in Spring 2020.
- 60% of students at NPAS in grade 3 will perform with typical or aggressive growth on the FAST Reading assessment by May 2020 compared to 53% of 3rd graders on the 2019 FAST Reading assessment.
- NPAS will increase our FRPL gap between the FRPL state average by at least 20% on the 2020 Reading MCA, compared to 15% on the 2019 Reading MCA.
- 39% of Statewide FRPL students were proficient on the 2019 Reading MCA
- 54% of New Prague FRPL students were proficient on the 2019 Reading MCA
- NPAS will increase our SPED gap between the SPED state average by at least 10% on the 2020 Reading MCA, compared to 5% on the 2019 Reading MCA.
- 26% of Statewide SPED students were proficient on the 2019 Reading MCA
- 31% of SPED students were proficient on the 2019 Reading MCA
- The percentage of eighth grade students who meet or exceed standards as measured by the math MCA tests will increase from 79% in 2019 to 90% in Spring 2020.
- The percentage of eighth-grade students who meet or exceed standards as measured by the reading MCA test will increase from 73% in 2019 to 82% in Spring 2020.
- The 4-year New Prague Senior High 2020 graduation rate will be 97% or higher.
- As measured by the annual student survey, students will feel welcomed and respected within their school’s learning environment.
- In SY 2018-2019: 97% of the children that attended the school district preschool program answered yes to the question,” Do you feel safe in our preschool classroom.” In SY 2019-20120 we will increase the percentage by 2%. Goal: 99% of the children that attend the school district preschool program will answer yes to the question, “Do you feel safe in our preschool classroom.”
