New Prague Area Arts Council
The New Prague Area Arts Council is a network of local artists and arts supporters who host a number of arts activities each year and sponsor community art projects. Additional members are always welcome. Contact Sandi at sloxton@isd721.org for meeting dates and times.
Music at the Broz
The New Prague Area Arts Council is thrilled to announce a new partnership and venture that is sure to bring the community together with a variety of toe-tappin', hand clappin', finger snappin' music concerts. Beginning in the summer of 2022, Music at the Broz will be held on the side lawn of the Hotel Broz. These free concerts will be held on Thursday evenings and are open to all; bring your blankets and lawn chairs, seating is first come/first served. Hotel Broz will have concessions available for purchase.
The music line-up is as follows:
- June 30 – Little Chicago (‘60s and ‘70s pop/rock cover horn band) sponsored by the NP Chamber
- July 14 – Smisek Bros. (gospel/country/country rock) sponsored by Kay and Mike Wilcox
- July 21 – Air Force Starlifter Band (rock, pop, jazz, country and traditional patriotic songs) sponsored by New Prague Area Education Foundation
- July 28 – Timbre Junction (bluegrass) Sponsored by Brusseau Investments/Diversified Wealth Management
- Aug. 4 – Echos (big band) sponsored by Bruzek Funeral Home/Gardner & Gardner Communications
- Aug. 11 – Eddie Shimota Band (polka) sponsored by Wells Fargo Advisors

The Dozinky Variety Show is returning in 2022 with a comeback show that you won't want to miss!
Auditions

Returning to the Dozinky celebration of activities: This year's show is sponsored by Diversified Wealth Management, Shannon Brusseau, in conjunction with New Prague Area Community Education and Arts Council. It is a great way to conclude a busy weekend of family-friendly activities.
Enjoy an evening of fun, friendship, inspiration, and music as you cheer on your local favorites. We will be featuring amazing musical talent, dance, comedy and more! This year's show is directed by Elise Lundeen.
The Variety Show will be held on Saturday, September 17th at the New Prague High School Auditorium beginning at 7pm. Tickets will go on sale soon - $10 each or $5 for students K-12. Under five years of age is free. Tickets are all general admission and will be available online at npaschools.ce.eleyo.com, at the New Prague Chamber, New Prague Community Education office and at the door the evening of the performance.
