Google Chrome

Google Chrome is the recommended browser for staff and students at NPAS. If you make Chrome your default browser, any links you click will open automatically in Chrome.

Normally updates happen in the background when you close and reopen your computer's browser. But if you haven't closed your browser in a while, you might see a pending update. For example, a green, orange, or red update icon may appear in the upper-right corner of your browser.

When you use a browser, like Chrome, it saves some information from websites in its cache and cookies. Clearing them can fix certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.

1. Make sure you are in the Chrome browser.
2. At the top right, click More (3-dots) icon.
3. Click the Settings option.
4. On the left menu, click the Privacy and security option.
5. Click the Clear browsing data option.
6. At the top, choose the time range: All time
7. Check the boxes next to [ Cookies and other site data ] and [ Cached images and files ].
8. Click the Clear data button.
