During this difficult time, this is a great resource as many people are experiencing an increase in mental health symptoms.  One does not have to be in significant crisis for this service to be used.  Also, due to COVID-19, telehealth assessments and stabilization appointments are available. If a family or individual does not have health insurance, the cost is covered by the county. For those with insurance, the insurance company would be billed, but any additional costs would also be covered by the county.  Scott County Crisis is available 24/7.
