Families can read our updated Return to School Guide here.

Menu Information

  • Menus are posted in the cafeterias as well as the district website.
  • Menus are analyzed for calories, saturated fat, trans fat, and sodium. See USDA Food and Nutrition Service website for more information about the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act and the lunch and breakfast nutritional regulations set by the USDA.

What Makes a Complete Lunch?

  • NPAS Nutrition Services offers five food groups at lunch — bread/grain, meat/protein, fruit, vegetable, milk. A complete meal consists of at least three of these food groups offered. Students have the option to decline up to two food groups offered.
  • One of the food groups chosen must be either a fruit or vegetable.
  • Students do not have to take a milk to have a complete meal, although it is encouraged for a well-balanced meal.
  • To decrease waste, students are also encouraged to only take the foods they will eat, keeping in mind the requirements for a complete meal.

Breakfast – The Most Important Meal of the Day!

  • NPAS Nutrition Services offers 3-4 food groups at breakfast – bread/grain, meat/protein, fruit, and milk. A complete breakfast consists of 2-3 food groups offered.
  • One of the food groups chosen must be a fruit.
  • Breakfast is served Grab-n-Go style at all grade levels. It is then eaten during the first few minutes of the school day.
  • Research has shown that students who eat breakfast in the morning have better test scores, improved memory, have fewer absences and decreased tardiness, and are better able to get along with their peers.
  • If your child attends Kid’s Company before school, he/she will have the opportunity to participate in the school breakfast program during that time.
  • All kindergarten students are offered free breakfast, funded by the State of Minnesota.
  • If your student qualifies for free or reduced-price lunch, he/she will also receive free breakfast.

Drive-Thru Pick-Up Meals

FREE meals will be available for K-12 enrolled students who are distance learning or who are not in the school building during their hybrid rotation. Pick-up days are now only two days per week and meals will be bundled so that families receive multiple days-worth of meals at a time. Families will receive the number of lunches and breakfasts, if ordered, needed until the next pick-up day.

  • Group B and Distance Learners will pick up meals every Monday.
  • Group A and Distance Learners will pick up either Wednesday or Thursday, depending on the hybrid rotation that week.
Times and locations to pick-up bundled meals are:
  • Middle School (front entrance - change starting 9/28) 10:45-11:15am
  • Eagle View Elementary (front entrance) 10:45-11:15am
These times and locations are subject to change.

For those interested in picking up either breakfast and lunch, or just lunch, meals will need to be pre-ordered in the School Store in Infinite Campus. See directions here how to place your meal pre-order. The pre-order window for meals for the following week will close every Friday at 9am. There will be no option to decline specific meals within the meal bundle.

The menu for the drive-thru pick-up meals is listed on the regular Elementary and Middle School breakfast and lunch menus.
