Get ready for a morning of stories, smiles, and summer fun! The New Prague Area Education Foundation's Summer Book Bus is rolling back into our communities on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, bringing the joy of reading directly to local parks in New Prague, Lonsdale, and Elko New Market.
Families are invited to stop by one of our scheduled park locations to enjoy a FREE book, a tasty treat, and a story read aloud. The Summer Book Bus is a fun and meaningful way to encourage children to keep reading throughout the summer while creating lasting family memories.
This event is especially meaningful as it is held in memory of longtime New Prague Area Schools educator Pat Beckius, whose passion for education and commitment to inspiring young readers continues to impact our community.
Whether you're joining us for the first time or returning for another summer adventure, we look forward to seeing you aboard the Summer Book Bus as we celebrate literacy, learning, and the joy of reading together!
