FROM OUR SUPERINTENDENT
Dear NPAS Team,
On behalf of the School Board and our NPAS community, welcome to the 2026–27 school year! I hope your summer has been enjoyable and filled with quality time with family and friends. Our vision remains clear to be a premier school system that models excellence and prepares all students for life’s opportunities. Guiding us daily are our core values: innovation, open-mindedness, relationships, and integrity.
Building on last year’s focus of Better Together, our theme for this year is Double Your Impact - Double Your Fun! Student success and a thriving workplace are deeply connected. When we bring joy, passion, and purpose to our work, both staff and students flourish. Enjoying the journey isn't just good for morale—it directly accelerates continuous improvement. When you feel valued, supported, and engaged, the positive outcomes for our students double. Please know that your hard work and dedication are deeply appreciated.
As we begin this year, let’s keep The New Prague Way front and center: doing what is right, committing to excellence, and showing people that we care. These core practices define our culture and give us the resilience to navigate any challenge.
I look forward to reconnecting in the weeks to come, including at our annual Back to School Welcome on Thursday, August 27. Please reach out anytime with thoughts, questions, or concerns.
Together, let’s make this a meaningful and impactful school year for all. Go Trojans!
Sincerely, Andrew Vollmuth

DISTRICT NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS
NPAS WELLNESS
As we look ahead to the 26-27 school year, NPAS will continue to improve on embedding the district Wellness Policy in our daily practices. This includes a strong focus on promoting healthy food choices, supporting student wellness, and ensuring consistency across all buildings.
In the fall, staff will be provided with detailed guidance, resources, and reminders to help support this ongoing implementation.
The Wellness Committee appreciates your partnership in helping create a healthy environment for all of our students. If you have questions or would like to join the Wellness Committee, please contact Jenny Yetzer or Lindsay Pape.
