FROM OUR SUPERINTENDENT
Dear Team,
This week, we join districts across the state to celebrate Public Schools Week in Minnesota. It is a timely opportunity to reinforce the pivotal role that public education plays in our local communities.
Every day, public schools serve as the bedrock of our society, providing every child—regardless of background or circumstance—with the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. This success is not accidental; it is built on the foundation of your dedication. I want to personally celebrate and thank the educators and staff of New Prague Area Schools. Your hard work ensures that every student who walks through our doors has a genuine chance to succeed as we pursue our mission to support and engage students in high levels of learning.
As we move through the second half of the year, I invite us all to lean back into our theme of being Better Together. This is more than just a slogan; it is a call to action. I encourage everyone to recommit to The New Prague Way through our core pillars:
- Doing What is Right: Placing students’ needs first and meeting their academic, social, emotional, and physical needs.
- Committing to Excellence: Striving for the highest standards in our classrooms, offices, and facilities to create great learning experiences.
- Showing People We Care: Building the relationships and conscious acts of kindness that make our schools feel like home.
By staying true to these values, we continue to be a shining example of what public education can and should be for all. We remain steadfast in our vision to become a premier school district that prepares all students for life’s opportunities.
Thank you for your continued partnership and for all you do for our students, families, and the greater communities whom we are so fortunate to serve.
Go Trojans!
Sincerely,
Andrew Vollmuth
