FROM OUR SUPERINTENDENT
Dear NPAS Staff,
Happy New Year! I hope the holiday break was both meaningful and restful, providing you with ample opportunities to connect with loved ones and the space to refresh and recharge. As we step into the second half of our school year, I am proud of our collective efforts to-date and also energized by the possibilities that lie ahead for our district.
Our theme for the remainder of this year is "Better Together." This is more than just a phrase; it is the cornerstone of our vision to become a premier school system that models excellence and prepares all of our students for life’s opportunities.
When we emphasize being "better together," we focus on the holistic development of every student. We know that academic achievement and social-emotional growth are not separate tracks, but rather intertwined. This is the perfect time to reinforce The New Prague Way in everything we do:
- Doing what is right: Modeling integrity for our students in every interaction.
- Committing to excellence: Maintaining high academic standards and pushing for growth in every classroom.
- Showing others we care: Cultivating the relationships that make our schools a true community.
When we live these values collectively, we ensure that every NPAS student is supported both academically and socially.
In the month ahead, I am looking forward to being in your buildings more frequently. I will be visiting our Site-Based Leadership Teams at each location to listen, learn, and collaborate.
These visits are a priority for me. I want to see firsthand the innovative work happening at the building level and hear directly from our leadership teams about how we can continue to support your goals. These conversations are vital as we align our district-wide vision with the daily excellence occurring in your halls.
Again, Happy New Year! Thank you for all that you do to make sure our school spaces are not only safe and welcoming, but also filled with high expectations for student behavior and learning. Your dedication is what makes this district a leader in excellence.
Here’s to a productive 2026! Go Trojans.
Sincerely,
Andy Vollmuth
