A Message From The Superintendent
Dear Families,
Greetings on behalf of the New Prague Area Schools. This week, we join districts across the state to celebrate Public Schools Week in Minnesota. It is a timely opportunity to reflect on the pivotal role that public education plays in our local communities and, most importantly, in the lives of your children.
Every day, public schools serve as the bedrock of our society. In Minnesota, our public education system supports more than 850,000 students across over 2,200 schools. This massive undertaking is made possible by the dedication of over 57,000 full-time teachers who are entrusted with teaching and nurturing our young learners every single day.
However, this success is not a solo effort. While our educators and staff work tirelessly to ensure every student who walks through our doors has a genuine chance to succeed, the true magic happens when that dedication is met with active partnership from home and the greater community.
There is an old adage that "you get out what you put in," and education is no different. As we move through the second half of the year, I want to invite you to lean into our theme of being Better Together. This is more than just a slogan; it is a call to action for all of us. I encourage you to stay as involved as you possibly can—not just for the betterment of your own child’s journey, but for the collective success of all NPAS students. Whether it’s volunteering, staying engaged with teachers, or participating in school events, your presence strengthens the entire foundation of our district.
By staying active and true to these values, we continue to be a shining example of what public education can and should be for every child. We remain dedicated to our vision of becoming a premier school district that models excellence and prepares all students for life’s opportunities.
Thank you for your continued partnership and enthusiastic support of the New Prague Area Schools - Go Trojans!
Sincerely,
Dr. Andrew Vollmuth
