FROM OUR SUPERINTENDENT
Dear NPAS’ Staff,
A sincere thank you to you all for helping to ensure a smooth start to the 2024-25 school year. Over the past week, we welcomed approximately 3,900 students into our school buildings. Great starts don’t just happen, rather they are the end product of thousands of decisions made by the professional staff working on behalf of a common goal - our wonderful NPAS’ students!
As we begin a new academic year, I am filled with renewed hope. I have enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect with many staff members as you return to their roles, am excited about watching our students excel in both athletics, arts and activities, and most importantly, have enjoyed welcoming back our enthusiastic learners to our buildings and classrooms.
This renewed hope exists despite the challenging decisions that were made last spring throughout our Planning for Success process. Simply stated, we cannot let these experiences define us as a school system. Rather, we must use them as motivation to continue our collaborations on behalf of all students as together we work to achieve our vision of being a premier school district that prepares all of our students for life’s opportunities.
Finally, a warm welcome to our newest teammates. I trust that you will find the New Prague Area Schools a great place to work, as do I, and ask that all returning staff make an extra effort to support these newest members of our school community as they transition into their new roles.
Please do not hesitate to connect with your site supervisor or me if you have questions throughout the school year, and thank you again for your commitment and passion for the New Prague Area Schools!
Regards,
Andrew Vollmuth
