Dear NPAS Staff,
Greetings! I hope your first week back with students has gone well and that everyone is adjusting smoothly to the routines of the new school year. On behalf of our entire district, I want to once again extend a warm welcome to the newest members of the NPAS’ team. Regardless of your role, you play an integral part in making our school system a special, productive environment for all, and I trust your first year will be a rewarding one.
Over the past year, our district dedicated significant time and energy to updating both our Employee Experience and Family Satisfaction surveys. Listening carefully to your voices and our community’s feedback is vital—it ensures our strategic priorities directly reflect what is working well and where we must continue to improve.
The results of our latest Employee Experience Survey highlight strong foundational strengths: staff expressed deep pride in working within NPAS, a firm commitment to student success, and appreciation for the collaborative support of peers across buildings. At the same time, your feedback pointed to clear opportunities for growth, specifically emphasizing a desire for more streamlined district-wide communication and expanded professional development tailored to specific roles.
Similarly, our Family Satisfaction Survey revealed encouraging highlights alongside actionable insights. Families expressed high confidence in student safety, strong appreciation for our dedicated teachers, and overall satisfaction with our welcoming school culture. To build on these strengths, families requested clearer, more consistent communication regarding academic expectations, as well as more proactive updates on individual student progress.
Data is only as valuable as the action it inspires. As we embark on this new school year, our site based leadership teams are using these insights to refine district goals, streamline internal continuous improvement efforts, and foster stronger connections with our families.
Thank you for your enthusiasm, dedication, passion, and everything you do for NPAS students every single day. Always remember your efforts are appreciated.
Best wishes for a productive first month to the school year. Take care and Go Trojans!
Sincerely,
Andrew Vollmuth
