Advanced Placement

The district offers three Advanced Placement (AP) course options for students. AP courses provide high school students the opportunity to earn college credits. AP courses prepare students to take a national exam in May. Students may earn college credit based on their scores on these exams. Current AP offerings include AP Statistics, AP Calculus and AP Computer Science.

College in the Schools

Students can also earn college credit through College in the Schools (CIS). CIS is an opportunity for eligible high school students to enroll in a college or university courses to earn credits simultaneously for both a high school diploma and a college degree. Students who are interested in CIS should talk to their guidance counselor for more information.

Postsecondary Enrollment Option (PSEO)

Students can earn college credit through PSEO. PSEO is an opportunity for eligible high school students to enroll in college or university courses to earn credits simultaneously for both their high school diploma and their college degree. Students who are interested in PSEO should talk to their guidance counselor to get more information.
