What is a Chromebook and how is it different from a laptop?

A Chromebook is similar to a laptop, but instead or running a Windows or iOS operating system, it simply uses Chrome. The devices are designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet, with most applications and data residing "in the cloud". Watch this video clip for a brief explanation.

Can I print from my Chromebook?

Yes, and no. If you have a wireless printer at home you can follow the instructions from the manufacturer. For example, here are the HP wireless printer directions:

You cannot, however, print to your school's networked printers. To print at school, users can log into a desktop computer. The media center, for example, has several for students to access.
